At present, there are 16,000 auxiliary manufacturers in China, of which, textile printing and dyeing auxiliary producers account for less than 20%. Affected by financial crisis in 2008, the output of textile printing and dyeing auxiliary was merely 850,000 tons, while it increased to 1.12 million tons in 2009 but rose slowly from 2009 to 2013. And the output of textile printing and dyeing auxiliary was 1.365 million tons in 2013, and the growth rate was less than 2% year on year. The major reason accounted for that was the overcapacity of the entire industry, but in general, the textile printing and dyeing auxiliary market was better than that of 2012: the price of auxiliary raw materials remained in a low level, and the business performance of many enterprises was better than last year. As a vital link of textile fine and deep processing and the improvement of high-added value of products, the textile printing and dyeing auxiliary industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and now its production capacity has ranked the top in the world. The output of printing and dyeing cloth of enterprises that above the certain designated scale was 54.236 billion meters in 2013, dropping by 2.21% over last year, and the growth rate also reduced by 0.15 percentage points compared that of the same period of 2012. The actually completed investment of printing and dyeing enterprises that above the designated scale was CNY 30.068 billion in 2013, up 26.65% over last year; about 640 projects were under construction in 2013, up 22.14% over last year; newly-commenced projects were 502, up 25.19% over last year; finished projects were 433, up 22.32% over last year. In which, the growth rate of the actually completed investment amount and newly-commenced projects of chemical & blended fabrics processing enterprises were obviously higher than that of cotton fabric processing enterprises, up 31.79% and 29.37% respectively, which will certainly drive the upstream textile printing and dyeing industry and promote its rapid development, and consequently, facilitate the booming textile printing and dyeing auxiliary market.
