Timetric's Construction Intelligence Center (CIC) is currently tracking road construction projects globally with a total value of US$2.23 trillion. Of this, US$1.16 trillion is in the execution stage. Asia-Pacific accounts for the highest value with US$1.24 trillion, followed by Europe with projects valuing US$462.7 billion, the Americas has road projects with a value of US$315.2 billion, while the Middle East and Africa pipeline is valued at US$212.0 billion. Overall this pipeline of projects equates to over 312,000km of roads projects, including 181,493km in Asia-Pacific alone. The largest projects currently in execution are the US$80.0 billion Fuzhou to Taipei Highway: Taiwan Strait tunnel in China and the US$71.0 billion National Highway Development Program in India.
