Since Apple launched iPad in 2010, the global sales volume of tablet PCs has been increasing rapidly. From 2010 to 2012, the global sales volume increased by 6.6 times, which has increased to 128.3 million units from 19.4 million units. According to the forecast of Huidian Research, the global sales volume will increase to nearly 240 million by the end of 2013, which will be higher than the estimated shipments of laptops with 207 million units.
